CAMPING MINISTRIES
Chile
Pirque (Central Chile) - This camp facility is functioning in a limited capacity. It lacks significant infrastructure development and will require a full-time camp director to maximize its potential. Most of the six million people in the greater Santiago metropolitan area live within and hour and half of this facility. There is potential for year-round and full-capacity ministry! GMSA appointees John and Jackie Albaugh are raising financial backing to dedicate themselves to this exciting ministry.

Licán-Ray (Southern Chile) - This camp facility is functioning in a limited capacity. Much of the current infrastructure has aged beyond repair and is no longer satisfactory. The facilities will require a near-complete renovation and the work of a full-time camp director to develop an effective camping program. There is potential for much more ministry! There are many congregations (and souls) in Temuco (population 300,000) and other nearby cities that would profit from a biblical camping ministry. GMSA appointees Dan & Elizabeth Thompson are raising support to dedicate themselves to this exciting ministry.
El Molle (Northern Chile) - This facility is functioning. The aging infrastructure of this small camp facility limits the scope of its ministry. It would benefit from even the part-time or seasonal attention of a camp director.
Chiloé (Southern Islands) - This seasonal facility is functioning. It focuses on summer missionary camps. Campers (from all over Chile) attend a week of practical training and then participate in evangelistic campaigns on targeted islands.
Uruguay
Paysandú - This camp facility is functioning. The existing facilities are ample enough to accommodate 120 campers at a time. The camp’s greatest need at present is a full-time, self-supported camp administrator. Even though it has already proven to be a great blessing, this ministry’s potential is not yet realized.
Argentina
Chivilcoy - This camp facility is under development. When completed it will serve a large area that includes the twelve million people of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. This facility lacks the bulk of its infrastructure development and could be significantly advanced by the addition of a camp director.
