Missionaries Sergio and Andrea Duarte write: A new year has come to an end, and once again we rejoice in the work God has done in our lives and ministry. He has uplifted us in hard times; He has allowed us to receive many blessings; He has taught us many valuable lessons; and we are grateful for His guidance each step of the way.
Certainly the college has been one of the great blessings of this year. We are so thankful for the opening of this ministry to train men and women for full time ministry. Our local church institute also offered two classes this year: Personal evangelism, and Doctrine 1. Praise the Lord for the eight students who finished the courses. What a blessing to see their eagerness to learn and be trained for ministry.
Praise the Lord, missionary and co-worker Bob Vallette was able to rent a house to re-locate the ministry and have more freedom to expand. Please continue praying for the establishment of a local church in this town, for new contacts, for souls to come to the Lord, and for faithful families.
The Lord has been leading Christian, Maria, and their two children (a Uruguayan family) to become part of our team to serve and gain firsthand experience in ministry. They will be in Fray Bentos in March. If you are interested in helping the Cardozo family with this transition, please contact us.
May the Lord continue to guide and direct your lives as you strive to serve Him and to live for Him in this coming New Year.
