Hi! My name is Sharon Bisbee. I came to Chile in August of 1985 to teach at Santiago Christian Academy for one year. I taught at the school for several years and joined the mission officially in 1989.
I worked in Santiago until March of 2014 working in La Granja and Ñuñoa in women’s ministries, children’s ministries, discipleship, visitation, and team ministry with detained police officers.
At the end of March of 2014 I was asked to help in a ministry in the far north of Chile under a Chilean pastor and his wife. When I went to visit Alto Hospicio, I was convinced that it was where God wanted me to work and I have been there ever since. I am in charge of the children’s Bible Club which meets on Friday evenings, help with Sunday School, women’s ministries, weekly discipleship classes and visitation in the children’s homes. I have started a new ministry teaching adults to read and presenting the Gospel to them.
