Bobby and Nadia Vallette - Church Planting in Young, Uruguay

Bobby Vallette

We are Bobby and Nadia Vallette. We were married in July 2016. Bobby is a veteran missionary in Uruguay. Nadia was accepted into the GMSA family March 1, 2016 and as a couple they were subsequently appointed to serve in Young, Uruguay.

Bobby was born in New York with Cerebral Palsy that doctors think might have been caused by a lack of oxygen during the birth process. When Bobby was nine months old his parents went to Uruguay as missionaries with Gospel Mission of South America. He heard the gospel many times while growing up. He adds, "At the age of 8 I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior after Sunday School with my mom. When I was 15 years old I was baptized by immersion by my dad. My dad always gave all the young people in the church many opportunities to serve and get involved in ministry. However, it wasn’t until I was a student at Northland Baptist Bible College that God helped me get serious about my relationship with him and stop living for myself. God used my best friend from Northland and his wife to call me to serve Him as a missionary in Uruguay. They had already been accepted with Gospel Mission of South America and said that if I was still interested in being a missionary they would like for me to join them as a team. After much prayer and counsel from my parents, pastor, deacons, and Northland I decided to go forward trusting God to meet my needs."

"God has given me a desire to love him and to use my physical limitations for his honor and glory. I don’t want to be anybody’s hero, I simply want to be obedient to what GOD is doing in my heart right now. I would appreciate your prayers for us as we follow Him as missionaries in Uruguay."
