Bobby Vallette - Church Planting in Uruguay

Bobby Vallette

My name is Bobby Vallette and I was born in New York with Cerebral Palsy that doctors think might have been caused by a lack of oxygen during the birth process. I have a twin sister and two older brothers. When I was nine months old my parents went to Uruguay as missionaries with Gospel Mission of South America. I heard the gospel many times when I was growing up. At the age of 8 I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior after Sunday School with my mom. When I was 15 years old I was baptized by immersion by my dad. My dad always gave all the young people in the church many opportunities to serve and get involved in ministry. However, it wasn’t until I was a student at Northland Baptist Bible College that GOD helped me get serious about my relationship with him and stop living for myself.

GOD has given me a desire to love him and to use my physical limitations for his honor and glory. I don’t want to be anybody’s hero, I simply want to be obedient to what GOD is doing in my heart right now. I would appreciate your prayers for me as I step out in faith and follow Him as a missionary in Uruguay. God used my best friend from Northland and his wife to call me to serve Him as a missionary in Uruguay, they had already been accepted with Gospel Mission of South America and said that if I was still interested in being a missionary they would like for me to join them as a team. After much prayer and counsel from my parents, pastor, deacons, and Northland I decided to go forward trusting GOD to meet my needs.
