Morrell Family First Year

Missionaries James and Donelle Morrell write to express thanksgiving to God for the ministry God has given them:

Dear supporters and senders,

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good!

We have now past the one year mark of our ministry here in Argentina. With that in mind, we have much to be thankful for.

We have received several work teams over the course of the year resulting in much progress at camp. The cabin is well under way with all of the walls up and the rough electrical and plumbing almost complete as well! Our goal is to have our first major activity at camp for our annual men’s retreat at the end of April. Please continue to pray that we would make significant progress to help us meet this goal.

Our U.S. paperwork has been completed and we are starting the process here to establish our residency.

God has provided us with a new house on the southern end of Chivilcoy. The house even has a yard for the kids to play in! One of the blessings that we are looking forward to is that the new neighborhood has a lot more kids. This provides us with opportunities to minister into the lives of children. Please pray that God would give us opportunities to minister to the children in the neighborhood.

This week (Nov. 26-29) we are having our first mission conference here at the church. Please pray that hearts will be softened to serve the Lord more in missions whether that will be through praying, giving, or going.

Several people have made decisions to follow the Lord this year. Please pray for them as they grow in the Lord and that they would not be drawn away by the lure of the world.

The kids are really adjusting well to the culture and the language. Hannah and Jaimie have even done some translating for the groups that have been here. Please pray for their continued adjustments.

Please contact us if you would like to be a part of a work team.

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good!

Resting in Christ,
James and Donelle Morrell
