Terry and Carol Thompson first arrived in Chile as missionaries over fifty years ago. Their first years of ministry were spent in the Chiloé Islands where GMSA missionaries used a boat to reach outlying island people with the gospel. Carol reflects on goodness of God in the hardship and loneliness of those early days as a young wife and mother in a new culture with limited Spanish.

Goal: To offer campers that know the Lord the opportunity to invite an unsaved friend to camp.
Description of Scholarship: The average cost of camp in 2024 was $50. The saved camper who brings an unsaved friend to camp, and the unsaved friend, both get the scholarship to enjoy a free week of camp.
Approximate Cost:
The original well dried up due to a prolonged drought in the area. An attempt to deepen the well was made but could only manage to go several feet. Water did come out, but not sufficient to irrigate, let alone to fill up the future pool.
