Ways to Give

From All Sending Countries:

You may give online using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card.

You can use your credit or debit card to make a one-time gift or support ministries on a recurring basis.  The amount will automatically be charged to your credit card until you cancel it. To make changes to your recurring donations, log into your account and navigate to the recurring donations tab on your donor dashboard.

Please note that fees will be deducted from credit card gifts (roughly 2.9%). You will still receive a tax-deductible receipt for the full amount of the donation.

You may give online using your PayPal account.

From the United States:

You may give online by having your bank issue an electronic check. With an eCheck, money is electronically withdrawn from your account and sent via the ACH network (Automated Clearing House) to GMSA’s account. The process is similar to a paper check, just electronic.

To give by eCheck, select that method on the online giving form. You will be prompted to fill out your bank account number and routing number.

You can save time and money by choosing to give by means of Electronic Funds Transfer. By making your giving automatic, you eliminate check writing and mail preparation time. You also lower our internal costs (credit card transaction fees) at no expense to yourself. And, you may cancel or modify this service at any time by contacting our US Office.

GMSA offers the convenience of EFT giving to donors desiring to support ministries on a recurring monthly basis. By allowing us to deduct a preauthorized amount each month, you will be simplifying your missions giving. You will continue to receive monthly receipts to track your donations.

Many banks offer online bill pay, which they implement by creating a paper check and mailing it for you. You can set up one-time or recurring donations this way through your online bank account. There is usually no additional fee for this service.

In many cases, giving stocks may be an advantageous way to give depending on your tax situation. By giving stock you have owned for more than one year, you can receive a tax-deduction of the fair-market value of the stock and not what you paid for it. This allows you to avoid capital gains tax, potentially saving you money and allowing you to give more to the Lord’s work.

Please contact us to receive the necessary brokerage information to transfer stocks directly from your account to GMSA.

You may establish a standing order with your bank that is a repeat instruction to credit a fixed amount each month to the designated recipient.

If you contact us, we can supply a sample letter to instruct your bank to set up such an order.
