Dan and Becca Vallette joined the GMSA in 1993.  From the time they arrived in Uruguay in 1996, until 2014, they served in the establishment and development of a camp ministry in Paysandú.

After finishing furlough and additional deputation in mid 2015, the Vallettes moved to Chile in order to oversee the ministry of Camp Pirque near the capital city, Santiago. The camp is within one hour driving distance of a population of 8 million souls, and it has almost unlimited potential to help the nearby churches.

“We believe that the camp ministry can be an effective tool in serving the local church.  We are currently helping to revitalize a camp that has been in existence for 30 years.  Many physical improvements have been made.  Many more are underway with a three-year project list in mind, as the Lord allows.”

A local church is also being planted, using camp facilities, in the rapidly growing surrounding community.
