The LIFT group from the UK arrived yesterday in Chivilcoy to assist in camp construction, thanks to the work of UK home director Nigel and Charis Kissick. The team got to camp at about 1:30 p.m., met the work team from Maine, and 30 minutes later the group from Maine left for the airport on the same mini-bus. The picture below shows the progress on the plumbing and flooring in one of the cabin structures, with the main camp building in the background.

Description of Scholarship: The average cost of camp in 2024 was $50. The saved camper who brings an unsaved friend to camp, and the unsaved friend, both get the scholarship to enjoy a free week of camp.

The original well dried up due to a prolonged drought in the area. An attempt to deepen the well was made but could only manage to go several feet. Water did come out, but not sufficient to irrigate, let alone to fill up the future pool.
