It is great to see work progressing at Camp Pirque outside of Santiago, Chile. The former “bodega” has been converted into a two-story building with office space, infirmary, men’s and women’s bathrooms downstairs, and three guest suites, office/meeting room and full apartment upstairs. Remember Danny Vallette and Ivan Maluenda and their families as they oversea the construction and lead the camp ministry.

Description of Scholarship: The average cost of camp in 2024 was $50. The saved camper who brings an unsaved friend to camp, and the unsaved friend, both get the scholarship to enjoy a free week of camp.

The original well dried up due to a prolonged drought in the area. An attempt to deepen the well was made but could only manage to go several feet. Water did come out, but not sufficient to irrigate, let alone to fill up the future pool.
