Thank you for your prayers!
We just completed a week of frosty cold mornings and today the rains started once more. This is our rainy season.
William Strong Memorial Seminary
The ceramic tiling is advancing in the classroom, hallway and dinning area. More drywall mudding and paint in the office area and pulling wires for the electric. The electric installation for the maintenance building moved along this week as well. Tuesday through Friday, two students help me trench water lines, split and gather firewood, clean up after the builders and other needed tasks. They too help with the seminary campus project.
The students are thankful for the warm showers in the dorms. The wood burning boiler is adequate. We’re still waiting for the radiators to be installed (they are on hand, but need to be connected to the boiler system).
Future Ministry
This evening we heard back from our Chile field council. They have decided to buy a Mission house in Los Angeles (Chile) where we can live and perhaps hold meetings with our coworkers. This is an answer to our prayers for clear guidance as we move ahead in ministry. Now, Lord willing, we’ll undertake to move from Angol to Los Angeles, renting a temporary dwelling perhaps for the first six months or until a Mission house is purchased (we then rent , so to speak, from the Mission but have more freedom to use the house for ministering God’s Word to others). Unsaved land lords can cause grief if they oppose the Gospel.
“And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go …” 2 Chronicles 14:11a
The photos are kindness of Carol. Thank you for helping us through prayer and every communication! The Lord reward you on that “day.” He is faithful!
