Dan and Liz Thompson in Lican Ray sent an update this month. Full text and pictures of their letter is available from their home page.
They are thankful for a call to shepherd a local church nearby their camp ministry. They report: “In March, the Lican-Ray Bible Church leadership called Danny to be their oversight pastor. As a family, we are thrilled to serve the Lord with this group of believers. Many may remember we had shared our desire to serve in a church closer to where we live, God has worked. An added blessing will be working alongside Angelo as he interns at the Church. Liz is also currently teaching the weekly ladies’ Bible study. Please pray for wisdom and strength as we ease into our new responsibilities.”
Dan is also teaching a class in the nearby Temuco Bible Institute on the cults.
