Missionaries Sergio and Andrea Duarte write in their January update:
We thank the Lord for His guidance, strength, and wisdom in the very busy year 2015, and we prayerfully
look forward to what He has planned for us as we begin a new year. From February to September, Lord
willing, we will be in the States visiting our supporters and sharing what the Lord has done in this last term. Here are some prayer requests:
- Pray for safety in travels. Our flight leaves February 3rd, and we will be covering a lot of miles during our furlough.
- We are looking forward to a refreshing time visiting our family, churches, and friends. We ask the Lord to be a blessing to those we come in contact with.
- Pray for the scheduling of meetings, and for open doors in new churches to present the burden we have
for this land. - Please pray with us for God’s provision of financial support.
- Pray for housing in the different areas we will be visiting.
- Praise the Lord for the provision of a vehicle.
- Pray for Patricia as we send her off to college this fall.
In the church, we also have some praises:
- A new deacon has been called.
- Thirteen souls have received Christ.
- A new portion has been added to the church building.
- The Cardozo family will take a lot of responsibilities while we are on furlough.
May the Lord continue to bless you. See you soon!!!
