Pictured above is the Canadian work team who are sprucing up the Los Avellanos property. After about a day and a half of work, they have removed the old roof on the back shed and replaced it with corrugated zinc; scraped and power washed the exterior walls; painted the back side; and made a good start on the new electrical installations. Hopefully the rest will go quickly so they can move on to the Lican cabin project as planned.

Description of Scholarship: The average cost of camp in 2024 was $50. The saved camper who brings an unsaved friend to camp, and the unsaved friend, both get the scholarship to enjoy a free week of camp.

The original well dried up due to a prolonged drought in the area. An attempt to deepen the well was made but could only manage to go several feet. Water did come out, but not sufficient to irrigate, let alone to fill up the future pool.
