Serving: Camp Paysandú
We have had the privilege of serving the Lord in camping and church ministry since 2007, first in southern Chile until 2021, and now in Paysandú, Uruguay, having joined the GMSA in 2002. Our main task is three-fold. First, we work on camp facility development with the help of national churches or with foreign work teams. Second, we work on developing the camp’s philosophy of ministry, tweaking a North American philosophy to better fit the Uruguayan culture. Third, we invest in people whether it be our volunteer camp staff or interns heading to serve the Lord in future pastoral or camp ministry. Those three tasks are fleshed out during retreats, summer camps, and conferences.
We also have the privilege of serving in our local church in Paysandú. Danny is the interim pastor and Liz has a discipleship ministry with ladies from the church.
